The Chef’s Canvas is an artfully designed, 288-page coffee table book featuring recipes from Northeast Florida’s top chefs, bartenders, food trucks and breweries who each crafted a recipe inspired by a work of art from the Cummer Museum’s Collection. Guests of the March 12th release event will be the first to receive a copy of The Chef’s Canvas and will enjoy 8 sit-down courses by some of Jacksonville’s top chefs. Each chef will present the dish s/he submitted to the cookbook and guests will be able to experience the dishes inspired by the artwork in person. Guests will have an opportunity to have their cookbooks signed by the chefs and we will have some very special entertainment, making for a full sensory experience.
The event will take place at the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens in Riverside. Each ticket includes meal, all beverages, gratuity, entertainment and a copy of The Chef’s Canvas cookbook (retail price $59.99). The Legend Series will donate all proceeds from the event to the Cummer Museum.
